About Eva Debrodt
Actor
A German Native, Eva Debrodt is an actor and filmmaker.
Eva found her way to acting through highschool and pursuid her acting career in parallel to her career as a professional Attorney at Law, licensed in Germany.
In particular, Eva has been seen on award winning short films, i.e. at the Cannes Film Awards, and on several Music Videos with artists such as Mark Keller and Apache 207.
Among others, Eva has obtained her training at the Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop in Los Angeles, California.

Charlie Chaplin
Eva started her professional film career as a filmmaker after her success with Emancipation which was screened at several film festivals world wide. She loves the creative challenges and opportunities to learn from the variety of different skill sets on and off set.
Festival Director
In 2023 Eva Debrodt became Festival Director of Filmfest Oberursel next to Alexander Mereien.
Filmfest Oberursel is an international 4 day live film festival in the immediate neighborhood of Frankfurt, Germany. For more than a decade, the Oberursel Film Festival has become a tradition for storytelling and a destination for many local, national and international filmmakers.
Together with Alexander, Eva has helped the film festival grow in 2024 and make it a true Festival experience. Starting out as a two screening nights and matinee event, Filmfest Oberusel is now becoming a four day Festival Event:
- Gala Opening Night – Glittering Start with Industry Experts
- Two full Days of Screenings and Networking Opportunities (Workshops, Panel Discussions, Screenings of Feature and Short films).
- Grand Finale with Award Presentations – Honoring Best Short Film and Feature Film & Matinee
